Setting Up A File Structure

File structures are very important in DiDA, If you do not have the correct file structure when you move your ePortfolio most likely it will break all the links of your site and/or it will be hard for a moderator to find what they are looking for.

1) First, Start by creating a new folder; this will be the root folder (the top level folder in which all your other files will go in). Ill call mine “dida-unit2″.

Creating A New File

2) Double click on the folder so you are now inside of it and create between 5 and 10 new folders (this varies on what project you have). Add your files into the appropirate folder, to separate words in folders we use a - rather than just a space eg: Project-Folder-2

Creating More Files

Files for your website that are .html / .htm should not go into their own folder but stay on the root level (see below)

More Files With HTML

Now you have a working file structure.
